Mission statement

To seek justice by ensuring a fair and ethical application of the law, protecting the rights of victims, and promoting community safety through advocacy, teamwork with our law enforcement partners, and zealous prosecution.

In pursuit of this mission, this office will uphold and support the Missouri and United States Constitutions. We will also bear in mind that justice begins with basing our decisions upon the law and the facts of each case and seeking a result that is supported by those facts and is proportional to the crime committed and the criminal history of each defendant. Seeking justice also requires protecting and honoring the rights of both crime victims and the accused.
